A collaboration between Gener8 and Odré

Gener8 partnered with local patisserie Odré for a special Lunar New Year collaboration, blending Chinese and Japanese cultural elements to welcome the new year. The collaboration aimed to honor and celebrate the traditions of Chinese and Japanese cultures during the Lunar New Year while infusing a modern and artistic touch. The goal was to create unique desserts that symbolized prosperity, good fortune, and the spirit of renewal.

Drawing inspiration from Japanese tradition, the team crafted mini Kagami Mochi, symbolizing good health and fortune for the New Year. In Chinese culture, oranges and tangerines are auspicious symbols, representing wealth and prosperity. Therefore, the collaboration also featured Orange Jelly Mousse desserts, reflecting the vibrant colors and symbolic significance of these fruits.

By utilizing iPhones for photography and editing, Gener8 demonstrated a cost-effective approach to capturing high-quality visuals while maintaining creative control over the project. The collaboration with Odré not only offered delectable treats but also highlighted the power of cultural storytelling and artistic expression in culinary creations. The project showcased Gener8's ability to blend tradition with innovation, resulting in a memorable and impactful Lunar New Year celebration.
